However, the stratification technique requires a deep knowledge of adhesión procedures, how to operate materials and dental anatomy, making it a complex and time-consuming.

This technique can be simplified with les composites as a cosmetic solution to beat these disadvantages. The use of a “reduction” technique and the posterior application of dyes and transluscent resins can represent a similar alternative to ceramics elaborated with incisal reduction.
